Candace Owens blasts Kesha: "She got away with it"

In response, fans have criticized Candace as a 'desperate attention seeker', while some believe the amber heard trial is the beginning of a new "anti me-too" movement.

What do yall think about what Candace had to say?

context: Candace is a well known conservative commentator, she experienced a massive spike in popularity in 2021 when she began aligning her self with Nicki Minaj and pushed her anti vaxx agenda

NEVER getting the vax ?UPDATE: got my first dose 08/05/2021 ?

:deadbanana:

OT: Disgusting & not surprising at all, even if she's just saying this as a grift it's exactly the kind of talking point far right/right-leaning conservatives tout, which does not surprise me that Dr Luke stans or whatever have the same view :michael:

Interesting that Amber has actual evidence that she was abused while the other does not… And both have completely different narratives.

right wingers wake up, type the most offensive and controversial post on social media. turn off their phone and laugh

Kesha was seeking physical and financial distance from an abuser and her label refused to give it to her. Her situation wouldn't have become increasingly public if it could have been resolved peacefully and ethically.

Amber has not had noble intentions throughout this fiasco, even if Depp is clearly in the wrong in certain aspects. You'd have to be braindead to not see the differences

This is totally insane of an argument. Amber is facing gross sexism but Amber's abuse was long-term and by her SPOUSE. Documenting being abused by your husband or fiance after multiple fights makes sense. Kesha had no reason to predict that by accepting an invite to her first celeb party that her PRODUCER would randomly drug her one night and sexually assault her. It also WAS documented via her telling her lawyers she in 2006 that Luke just months prior assaulted her and she was terrified of him and what he'd do to her next.

None of you care for women if you're invested in discrediting either of these women's trauma.

Having Candace Owens on your side is beyond embarrassing for Dr. Luke's apologists (as well as Depp's)

This is disgusting but I didn’t expect anything from her so

Sorry, what exactly did Kesha "get away with?" She was on top of the world prior to coming forward about her abuse, and her career has suffered and stalled significantly ever since then, while also losing some high profile court cases. She had everything to lose and nothing to gain, except physical distance from someone who was abusing her. Meanwhile, Luke's image has been (semi) rehabilitated in the sense that he's making hits and money again. This entire argument is bs and it's so infuriating to get on here and see people saying Candiace said anything with any merit.

Kesha got away with what exactly?

She will literally say anything. Sad life.

Her career is over while Luke is scoring multiple hits again, so... it's not like she got away with it.  :michael:
