Because a lot of rap is lyrically centered around power, crime, and violence? Easy answer there, SZA.  :bunny:

She’s right, watching the ending of YOU Season 3 on Netflix was shocking because of the juxtaposition from the onscreen murder with Taylor’s “exile” playing

also rap music seriously needs to stop being used as the de facto accompaniment for crimes in shows and movies

Pop music is pretty inundated with anthems about power and empowerment - especially from female singers. Rock and heavy metal also has a lot of crime/violence-based themes.

You don't see the issue with calling a genre of music predominantly created by and consumed by Black artists violent and 'centred around crime'? :rip: Read a book.

Still has nothing to do with racism, not liking a genre =/= not liking people doing it :rip:  ATRL and their far-left obsessions once again :rip:
