I find it kind of awkward to write English lyrics for an artist who have predominantly Korean lyrics - it's like something is getting lost in translation.

This is like the first time I've properly read the English translation of SISTAR's songs.

 

But it's a very cool creative experience! It adds another layer to the challenge for me.

Hmm. Perhaps instead of changing, you could just add more to the song, another verse or longer bridge or something? That might help get rid of this feeling but also save you from replacing what you’ve already written, if you’re feeling like you need to say something else in the song, put it in another section instead of replacing one that already exists? 
 

It depends why you have this feeling, though. So if I’m assuming wrong then this might not be helpful

It's more like certain wording I want to change within certain lines, like lines that don't sound quite right to me.

Tea! I'll be honest, I hesitated with this round because I wasn't sure if I could reach the heights of someone like Mariah's lyricism 

But in the end, I decided to let it all go and just take inspiration with her style, while also incorporating mine! That mindset helped a ton since I'm almost done with my lyrics now

Writing that choco-coconut part was a tongue twister but it was worth it!

 

I've never really written that many catchy pop songs but I think I've discovered an innate talent for it, this is so fun to write!
