I thought he would survive the mumble rapper extinction after 2020 since with Circles he showed that he could swtich to pop. A very bad miscalculation on his side to come back with mumble rap. The genres had nothing to do with his underperformance. He proved in the past that could slay any genre, he's very versatile. The singles just aren't good, the quality isn't there.
