the part about her sales :deadbanana4::deadbanana4:

Lore'l clocked with swiftness and facts.

She was miserable and stank faced the entire time, for what?

The "scissoring with SZA" comment from the interviewer was not cute though.

I love kehlani and i try to sympathize for her especially because of what she went through in the first years of her mainstream career, but damn she was exhibiting Justin Bieber-like behavior with this shitty attitude. Good that she got checked on this. At the same time, some of the questions the interviewers were asking were stupid

Good. She/they/zem deserved it. Album tanked, too. Oh well.

yeh had to shut that off after she gave a shoutout to jason lee :rip:

somebody summarise is it anything serious?

She clocked Kehlani and it’s deserved. I’ve been a big fan of Kehlani for awhile but her behavior during that interview was so out of line. Just don’t do the interview if you’re not in the right mood for it because this ain’t it.

I watched the first two minutes of that interview and wow…she was insufferably unpleasant.

Ehhhh…idk.  The male host was indeed doing too much with his intro saying both “they” and “she”…like, he didn’t even make sense in that intro. Lol.

That intro was questionable + borderline disrespectful (even if unintentional).

But yeah, she could’ve just corrected him + kept it pushing.  Just like she did in the Sway interview.    :michael:

What’s with her skank face? If she wasn’t on the mood she shouldn’t have gone…

She was just standoffish and giving one word answers to questions.

I think the energy was partially off because the interview started with them asking questions about her pronouns and while they were receptive/understanding, the male cohost made a joke about it when introducing her that I think she felt was in bad taste. With that said, she was apparently in a mood even before they started talking to each other because she didn’t speak when she entered the room and wanted the interview moved up since she came early.

SAME.

All credibility OUT THE DOOR.

She/they were extremely unprofessional.  The hosts kept showering her with compliments and good questions (aside from the SZA question which was dumb af).  Like the host said, get media training, postpone interviews if you aren't feeling it, etc.  Don't show up super early for a scheduled interview and then answer questions like you're about to fall asleep, have your arms crossed, give BS short answers that don't really give anything, etc.  Horrible.

I heard it sold 21k :deadvision:

It's fascinating how people who are barely famous and not exactly acclaim magnets have this massive ego and entitlement. Like, you are not a poet. You are not Lauryn Hill. You are not Joni Mitchell. Be grateful anyone wants to listen to your musics and have a positive attitude. You are not talented enough to act like a diva.

Ok but what the **** is this?

It seems like her team didn’t want the interview released because of Kehlani’s stank attitude. So instead of apologizing & saying she was in a bad mood, she tried to create this scenario of the radio hosts being disrespectful of her pronouns and it backfired.

That’s extremely manipulative.

I Honestly think it's extremely WACK for a person to get mad if they are referred as the wrong pronoun. Like there is no need to become cold & defensive. You can correct the person & let them know what you want to be called. But no need to get defensive & want to start an argument.

Anyway, I can't believe that This "could have been, should have been, almost was, but never was" artist think they have the right to go to a dang interview with such a stank attitude lol. The artist needs these radio shows/media just as much as the radio shows/media need the artist. It's insane

LBR, she definitely seemed to have been in a super bad mood. It seemed like the radio host were just chillin & vibing.

P.S WHY DOES EVERY FEMALE RADIO SHOW HOST SOUND LIKE ANGELA YEE? lol. Or they try to sound like her. It's so weird & funny to me.

you know damn well they wouldn’t have asked weirdly invasive questions about scissoring or whatever if they were interviewing a straight girl. being rude is one thing but people solely attacking kehlani and ignoring how the hosts were asking dumb asf questions is another :rip:

No need to be sulking during an interview.

Interview is a conversation so if something upsets you, just say it, clear the air and move on.
