Wikipedia tells me that she toured theatres and music halls with her more recent tours which was probably less profitable than being on a reality show.

The Voice was probably more profitable. She's a smart businesswoman. She was paid 17 millions for Season 3 and another 17 million for Season 5. Not everyone can earn that much money by just being a judge on a TV show.

The X Tour was an ARENA Tour. She set to perform again at arenas this summer, including the O2.

The Voice obviously. It’s still going on even after all this time and The X-Factor was cancelled only after 3 seasons  not to mention Britney was fired from X-Factor/not asked back after 1 season even after she said she wanted to return for more seasons
