Considering most of music award show, she is

:rip: the lashings.

She's a household name and iconic, but she's not a "legend." Her output in all avenues is pretty consistently poor. She was a significant figure for the representation of Hispanic women in the media, but she never had any kind of artistic impact or influence.

She's one of the true triple threats in the industry that had success in music, dance and film

Her green dress alone is iconic and all the media attention on Bennifer - of course she's a legend

Waiting for Tonight is THAT bop, though.

She is. A staple in fashion, music, and movies. Literally GOOGLE IMAGES was invented because of her.

She has some great movies and songs, but legend? I don't think so.

She's an icon.

she's certainly an icon that has managed to remain relevant for almost 3 decades :clap3:

Agreed. All her ventures are mixed to panned save for a couple (Selena, Hustlers). What is she a legend of? Music? Film? Fashion? No - she isn’t legendary in any of these avenues.

JLo is a master at being a celebrity and her staying power with the GeePee is impressive. She has iconic moments but that does not a legend make. If you consider JLo a legend because she’s extremely famous, then Kim K must be a legend too.

She is a legend because she can do everything! Dance, sing, act;;;

But how she does all that? By being bad at every little thing she tries to do :clap3:

She is more of a legend than Xtina for sure

She didn't fizzle out after two hit albums

It feels like a stretch to call her a legend. She's a household celebrity name, but not a legend imo :michael:

That's what happens when your career has been built off of other women's talent (Selena Q, Ashanti, Shakira etc.) without being able to back it up

She’s gonna end up one, but for right now she’s iconic

She hasn't done anything legendary yet... so no she's not a legend.
