suburbannature Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 the lashings. She's a household name and iconic, but she's not a "legend." Her output in all avenues is pretty consistently poor. She was a significant figure for the representation of Hispanic women in the media, but she never had any kind of artistic impact or influence.
naval23 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She's one of the true triple threats in the industry that had success in music, dance and film Her green dress alone is iconic and all the media attention on Bennifer - of course she's a legend
suburbannature Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Just now, Beyoncé Knowles said: I'm just going to keep my mouth shut Waiting for Tonight is THAT bop, though.
hardbrit Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She is. A staple in fashion, music, and movies. Literally GOOGLE IMAGES was invented because of her.
JustHoran Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She has some great movies and songs, but legend? I don't think so.
99sandthe2000s Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 she's certainly an icon that has managed to remain relevant for almost 3 decades

Agreed. All her ventures are mixed to panned save for a couple (Selena, Hustlers). What is she a legend of? Music? Film? Fashion? No - she isn’t legendary in any of these avenues. JLo is a master at being a celebrity and her staying power with the GeePee is impressive. She has iconic moments but that does not a legend make. If you consider JLo a legend because she’s extremely famous, then Kim K must be a legend too.

Gworl…
Robburro Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She is a legend because she can do everything! Dance, sing, act;;; But how she does all that? By being bad at every little thing she tries to do

getback Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 everyone knows she is, only pressed haters on stan Twitter and black Twitter would say no
sxhunluv Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 (edited) She is more of a legend than Xtina for sure She didn't fizzle out after two hit albums Edited May 7, 2022 by sxhunluv
TheSoneNavy Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She’s an icon but not a legend. Her own ppl don’t even claim her

Bhabylon Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 It feels like a stretch to call her a legend. She's a household celebrity name, but not a legend imo That's what happens when your career has been built off of other women's talent (Selena Q, Ashanti, Shakira etc.) without being able to back it up
GagaStefi Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She’s gonna end up one, but for right now she’s iconic
Jynx Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 She hasn't done anything legendary yet... so no she's not a legend.
