I feel like labelling his racist behavior as "cultural appropriation" is kind of making it easier for him to dismiss criticism. Not that cultural appropriation is not a problem but a lot of things are labelled that and the term is associated mostly with things that aren't the biggest deal in the grand scheme of things.
