base talk GP Grew Tied of Gaga’s Antics, Not Kim K. Why?

Honest question. Coming from someone who loves Gaga.

 

Why did the GP grow tired of Gaga’s stunts and antics pretty quickly, and accused her of having done all the tricks in the book and grew bored of it

 

…but Kim Kardashian has been doing the same PR stunts and tricks for decades for attention but the GP are gripped on her every move. Whether the GP loves or hates her, they want to talk about her.

 

Is it really down to society valuing someone they find conventionally attractive more? Other reasons?

they are not the same at all nn kim is copying rihanna and bey's styles and people love reality shows. they love the gossip and stuff about famous people's personal lives

while Gaga's antics are extreme2009-2014 and her antics/stunts are mostly for her popstar persona (which people eventually gets tired of and move on)

Kim's antics revolve around her life, Gaga's were 80% about the way she dressed or the performances she did. When every popstar started to try to out-Gaga the Gaga it became too much for the GP. No one's out there trying to leak their own sextape, divorce in 72 hours, etc.

Kim K is just interesting. She is the moment.

Kim and Kris have an excellent relationship with the press/media. 
 

She controls what goes out weather it’s bad or good as long as the narrative is in her way. 
 

While Gaga relied on crazy costumes and overselling her “artistic” vision.

gaga seems ingenuine and changed at this point and no one cares beside her fanbase.

It’s just Kim K’s stunts are very banal and thus more “relatable” for pop culture consumers than GaGa who sold art which is too complicated for many, thus them rejecting it at some point. There’s just nothing offensive or challenging about Kim Kardashian so why should the public cancel her?

Kim and her family are probably one of the most hated people on the planet (not counting any politics) while Gaga is often much loved by the GP for her success in music, movies and live performances. 

 

Hollywood and the press sustains each other, the GP rarely can do anything about it.

Gaga was seen as pretentious and artsy fartsy while Kim K's controversies are the usual celebrity scandals, sextapes, divorces, showing off her wealth etc.

 

For the record, Gaga is infinitely smarter and more interesting than that. Or she used to be.

this is a good point. gaga is a very flash in the pan type of artist. her concepts are never excecuted outside superficial shock value
