Well, we haven't seen the movie so we don't know the extent that melody was used and how well it works in the movie.

she went to a music school and is a trained pianist im sure composing music isn't outside of her skillset lol

Why are people acting as if the song can’t be heard throughout the film through the score? Have we forgotten that at one point films had theme songs? 
 

Jurassic Park, St. Elmo’s Fire, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, E.T., Titanic, etc.
