7" versions are basically radio edits. Holiday is two minutes shorter but LAV and Material Girl are the same album versions.

Hmm, I'm in two minds. I mean, most songs sound great but what is going on with "Love Profusion"? It sounds like a low quality mp3

imo, this album is my most "go to Madonna album" since Hard Candy.  I really think as a collection I'll be revisiting this far more than MDNA, Rebel Heart, and MX.  It has every version of Madonna on one record.  That's what's so great about it.  If I want to hear a certain era of Madonna, it's all on this record.  It's very definitive.  And I think it will be kinda timeless.

incorrect.  The entire You Can Dance EP hit #1 on Dance.  Chart policies were different.  Just like Don't Speak didn't chart cuz it was airplay only.

I always thought "Into the Groove" was a #1 hit but it was not allowed to chart. 

 

"Beautiful Stanger" also should have had a proper single release because it could have gone top 5 or even #1.

But only in the US. It reached the top of the charts in most territories, and If I'm not mistaken "Into the Groove" blocked "Holiday" re-release from going #1 in the UK.
