it's a very long shot but if Jessica Chastain could win with Tammy Faye which received so much worse reviews, anything can happen honestly  

but the release date is the biggest thing working against her, not the superhero genre. movies released in Q1 and Q2 rarely ever get any Oscar recognition no matter how deserving they can be
