Considering they've been together for a LONG time through some of the worst years of Britney's life, I do think it's fair that Sam gets something if things were to end.  Think of it as opportunity cost.  He *could* have been hustling his ass off for over a decade building up his own fitness business/etc whatever he could do, but he chose to stay with Britney, which we all know probably required a lot of time, effort, mental stress, etc because he loves her and wanted to be there for her.  Britney's lawyers are also required to get her final approval before everything is done, so she will have the final say no matter what.  I wouldn't worry about this.

I don’t think you read this correctly. 
They’re not reporting on whether or not he’s getting money if they split, its saying he wants an increase in alimony for every five years they’re married. So he’s basically saying if we break up, I want future increases in alimony for every 5 years he’s married to Britney so he’s not stuck with the same amount for life if they split. 
 

Also if your partner is going through a tough time, you should be there for them because you love them and not expect anything out of it. No one should be entitled to more money just because they were there for them.

I wish her the best and I’m glad that she has free will, regardless of outcomes. If this man ends up screwing her over, that’s a harsh reality she has to cope with. Ultimately, Britney is a grown ass woman and I think it’s for the best that she holds the responsibility of HER LIFE in her own hands, instead of someone else doing it for her.
