While I would be extremely grateful to win, I don't expect to and genuinely just enjoyed playing amongst my fellow competitors. It's been a great season and I am fortunate to make the top 4. @Invisibility - Issa Lish Spoiler "The shape is just so unique it really is wearable art". — CBC "I am starting to think you are just art". — Jai My second time placing first in the season. I chose this architectural IvH construction because of the way it pushes the limits of conventional structure, is a geometric serve and comes in a plethora of bright colors, the first two which would become a recurring theme throughout my portfolio. Onto the competition side, this represents me at a time where I solidified my place as a force to be reckoned with and that I was here to stay! "SO many gems within this group. There were unique spins on it like Issa's knight and forest spirit characters". — kipperskipper "Issa is the star here". — D e v o n This round was truly a challenge, as we had to agree upon a single theme that, with its accompanying looks, would leave the panel asking for more... and we did, thanks to the theme first proposed by Anvarie. This is my favorite of the two looks I sent, because it's gritty, edgy (it's full of them), and sells a fantasy like the theme demanded. Right past the halfway point in the game, it showed that, even when placed in an already acclaimed team, Issa was capable of standing out amongst her peers. "The material is so different... I just love it". — D e v o n "Your best look from your ball catalogue!" — Yvess A futuristic look with vinyl shoes and a dress made from a leaflike material, sporting a see-throgh motif, a headpiece reminiscent of The Hunger Games' Capitol fashion, and once again highlighting the geometric silhouette makes for a forward-thinking fashion moment, which I almost had no opportunity to send since I was saving it for a skin tones round! Heading towards the final stretch of the season, I stumbled my way through this challenge due to an error of jugdement with 1/3 of my submission. However, I'm certain that this entry single-handedly carried me towards placing in the top three of the round as it was accordingly showered with praise. I have shown time and again to both the panel and the cast that I'm a frontrunner in this competition, something that I have achieved by having played with a celebrity of unconventional beauty; she's been named a jolie laide, and a model of strong character, after all. Since the beginning, I was excited about playing a new installment of Color Game by showcasing Mexican talent, particularly someone who wasn't always so accepted growing up, like the fact she was nicknamed Issalien yet she embraced it and got it as her handle in social media for many years. Plus for being scouted at around sixteen and having been an international presence in the modeling world since at least 2011, all that experience and refinement in the work she's taken just shows through my participation. Several of my entries were showstoppers; in fact, I placed first a whooping six times. With Issa, she's walked the runways and posed in editorials in some of the most daring, conceptual and eyebrowless looks that we saw during the season. Diversity was also a must for me, as shown by having isplayed excellence from diverse couturiers and brands, besides the ones I highlighted from my portfolio, such as Valentino (Metallic), Andreas Kronthaler (Sloth), Marc Jacobs (Orange) and Richard Quinn (Green), but also talent outside European mainstays, such as Phuong My (Black) and Culter (Brown). All in all, I leave for consideration of the judges the levels of taste I displayed when competing during the current season plus my mission to highlight a modelo paisana whose career is rich in approaches that are unique, unconventional, high fashion. @Not Like The Movies - Beyoncé Spoiler PORTFOLIO Look #1 - Ball Gown and fascinator with camp and drama Look #2 - Haute Couture bodysuit with high fashion jacket Look #3 - Custom beaded cultural dress and headpiece Final Look - Classic Flawless Ensemble I have always watched users play as Beyoncé in this game but no one has done her complete justice therefore, I decided to do it myself and give her the performance she deserves in this game. Throughout the entire competition Beyoncé has showcased many layers to her fashion in the form of custom made fashion pieces and unique looks. The looks displayed in her portfolio showcases her versatility in silhouettes and the extravagance in which she flawlessly executes like no other. Winning an outstanding 10 challenges and having one of the best track records ever in the colour game history, it is unassailable that Beyoncé is deserving of the crown. She began the competition with a bang and got the win in the first 3 challenges, she continued the momentum and raised it even higher at the end of the competition with stunning looks that won her many more rounds. You can find separates, street wear, haute couture, avant-garde, elegant, casual and unorthodox styled fashion, etc. in her catalogue, it has a taste of everything for everyone. Consistency, Fashionable, Excellence and Dominance effectively demonstrate her superb journey. Bey deserves to reign supreme and be the colour queen. Thank you! @Speezy - Cardi B Spoiler Hi judges, first and foremost thank you all for taking time out your day to judge and critique these looks. Thank you host for diligently working and working with extended deadlines. Whew, where should I start with this journey. Cardi B or in my case, Belcalis Almánzar. I wanted to represent Cardi as a fashion Icon instead of her rap life and her situations she have been involved in. I wanted to let BELCALIS shine. To show her innocence, her purity, her sexiness and fierceness throughout this competition. This competition was a rollercoaster for me and Belcalis. Actually being the only finalist with a lost & 4 bottom 3s but still find courage to make my model surprise the audience. With each round we continued to prove that we are worth staying here to compete and proof of winning. I would even say my run with her in this competition represented some of her drama in life, resilient and breaking through. Honestly, I stayed on my toes and kept you guys on your toes. The catalog I brought to the competition was a mix of casual and elegance dresses and avant-garde. That is my intention. I wanted to slay the judges with casuals looks just as much I would do gowns/dresses. Many competitors probably wouldn’t send in casual looks, or something that is too simple but I did and took the risks. Yes we all know your our faves will look good at events but can they look good on their own? In public ? Even Pregnant? I & Belcalis delivered those moments in this game. First am I happy to be along side my fellow competitors in this challenge, they probably didn't see Belcalis as a threat but here she is standing tall alongside them. I want yall to consider me as a winner because Belcalis versatile style and her ability to bounce back and still look good in any situation , whether it being pregnant, rap beef, tv beef or (this game). She just finds a way to stun and capture us in her outfits, pregnant or not. Once again thank you, With further ado here are the looks i chose to represent Belcalis journey with me through this competition: Casual B: Though not a winning look in its debut round. This look capturing purity and casualness, also pregancy! My personal favorite unBothered: Belcalis peacefully sexy & unbothered. A big thank you to ATRL and the moderators for your continued support. My first season hosting was three and the winner gave such an amazing portfolio and showed such passion -- that it inspired me to continue doing this game. A beautiful 6 years later: 5 and a half seasons, one All Stars, along with 2 competitive stints -- Through the ups and downs I've enjoyed all of it and to continue seeing new and old faces and the continued passion from the members here has truly been a highlight and the main reason I continue to log into this place lol Again, thank you.. :･ﾟ✧Devon Now onto final critiques: @99sandthe2000s Janelle Monáe Throughout this competition your entries have been so unique and delightful. You've had the best hair and head pieces 100% across the board. Accessories game on point too. You've played an amazing game and even if you don't win I think you should be proud of what you did here. @Not Like The Movies Beyoncé In the almost 8 years of this games existence I've never seen a Beyoncé played as graciously. You've truly killed it and feel bad for anyone who tries to replicate it moving forward. This pearl look in particular is so captivating too. It's been one round and I'm still thinking about it. @Speezy Cardi B I don't think I've given you enough flowers, because you truly showed resilience throughout this competition and every time you've competed, honestly. The write up is one of the best I've seen. While some may feel defeated in your position.. You continue to show the confidence and charisma Cardi exudes so naturally.
