I actually enjoy the new Jeffree. The videos at his ranch in WY with his animals are cute. The photo shoot is really campy and a bit problematic but that’s it.

Tone-deaf af… it literally says FETISH on the man’s body, fetishizing black men or any other race IS racist af.

It actually says « Banana fetish » and the men are not black :deadbanana2:

The picture might be a bit tacky but racist…? This is why social medias are problematic as f. Fighting the wrong people all the time.

I'm aware,  but as someone that comes from a bodybuilding background, i'm very familiar with WHITE men having these tones/sprays on for photoshoots or bodybuilding competition.

Why did he tan white people? Because he wanted a bronze body behind the banana for aesthetic purposes as I've explained that bronze + yellow go well together.

Why not use an actual tanned/black person instead of making someone white "paint darker"? Because threads like these would be created.

I'm sorry, did you think those were real models in Jeffrey's pictures???? Those are not sprayed tanned white men lmfao. They're clearly digital art ??? you can tell by how unrealistic/airbrushed their skin and hands/nails look.

The way y'all are running with "those are spray tanned white models" when they're clearly not even real but digital art lmfao

The mental gymnastics y'all are doing to defend a known racist deserve a gold medal tbh.

I don’t see how insinuating black men have big “bananas” is racist :deadbanana4:

You could say it’s a stupid or ignorant photoshoot that leads to stereotyping but racist? We need to stop overusing that word.

they are not black just look at the pubic hair lmao

I don't get your comment, Mast. Are you sure I'm the one you wanted to quote ? I am not defending nor attacking anyone in my previous post. I just stated that the men on the picture are white. There are a few horizontal shadows projected on them that make some parts look slightly darker than it is but their skin is very clearly white.

Historically white people used to say black men have big bananas to say that’s their proof that they are closer to animals than human thereby justifying slavery. It’s a antiquated racist idea with no basis in science that has just been passed down through the ages

There are literal studies that show that black men have the longest average ***** length of all race or ethnic group.

You can’t predict someone’s ***** size by their race or ethnicity, but saying black men having bigger penises isn’t backed by science is literally false.

So y’all gonna purposely play stupid and not understand the racial connections between black people and monkeys? Google it. Like…that’s all it takes. Why do y’all show your ignorance in everything thread?

They’re not “white men” but they’ve been darkened to the point where at first glance, they look it. Interesting.

As soon as racism comes up, white folk turn a blind eye but as soon as something homophobic happens, they wanna be up in arms about everything.

They’re actually CGI bodies and that one dude’s hand holding the banana is noticeably darker than the rest of his body… and it is NOT just a shadow.

It is CGI ? :dies: I would have never guessed, it looks so realistic.

Literally none of the people in this photo are anywhere near as dark in tone as the people in the ad

This.

Like I actually think it's racist to see this and relate it to black people. I have never in my life linked black people , Bananas , and Monkeys together and y'all are weird as **** for doing so.

Jeffery is still trash tho

Idk if y’all are dense or what but it’s literally one of the oldest racist tropes

Yall honestly just be complaining about anything at this point. There is nothing racist about that. Banana has been used as a metaphor for D since history began. You are just forcing some monkey narrative on it when there is none there at all, you are the actual racists for that. There is actual racist crap going on in the world and this is not that. You guys don't even know if those men are black, they could be white guys with tans, not that it would matter

Worms for brains, the people still experiencing hate & people who have literally been lynched are VERY REAL. Narcissistic & just plain stupid

Yes those are real and have nothing to do with the photoshoot Jeffree is doing. The worms are in your brain sis.

Geez, don’t you all get tired overreacting over the littlest thing. Such drama queens, get a life.

White users here embarassing themselves again.

Its not about what you interpret to be racist. If a Black/POC is telling you its racist or offensive just respect that.

We respect it Devin :clap3:

Telling black people they're “overreacting” and “complaining about anything” when there’s legit history behind black people being called monkeys or compared to monkeys (which can be found by merely searching google, there’s a link above) is the weirdest **** you can say. And at first glance, the men in the image are dark-skinned. Let’s not be obtuse here.

And then to follow it up with “there’s actual racist stuff going on” is even weirder because when it gets threaded or brought up on this website, y’all ignore that as well and say we’re still complaining then. Y’all said we were complaining during the BLM protests, y’all said we were complaining during the Blackface/blackfishing  threads, etc…Like, I’m convinced some of y’all just love saying we complaining. :coffee:

Interesting. It’s funny how y’all lust over black men and our “BBC’s” (again, another stereotype which contributes to our sexualization because not all black men have that) all the time but when it comes time to address the racism we experience, y’all are silent, nowhere to be found or dismissive.

Jeffree Starr is most likely done nowadays. No one really cares about him nor his products

Anyone can see this is just a desperate attempt to create controversy and "revive" his profile once again. He knows YT culture is basically on its way to dying and is trying to do something to keep his name out there whther it's for good or bad reasons. I can already see the "explaining video" in which he blames the lighting and addresses how the models aren't black and it's just the tan in post editing that's made it that way and how he listens and blah blah...

How can people fall for his schemes every time is :toofunny3: He does this on purpose everytime and he knows he is mostly done and irrelevant so he has to resort to this

Oh please shut up. This is pathetic. Racism over bananas and tanned white dudes? These assumptions are such a reach. You honestly think Jeff purposely went out of his way to hurt a community with these images? Like this was planned to ATTACK a race?:ahh: Absolutely not. Just because your offended doesn’t mean your right. It’s a raunchy photo that you’ve managed to find correlations with your experiences and knowledge. You can literally find correlations with anything if you try hard enough. You are quite literally acting outraged over nothing but something you’ve assumed. Please get a grip, and stop making people feel bad for purely existing and expressing themselves through art. Accusing people of racism when there intentions are obviously pure, is wrong. Stop gaslighting white people. I’m getting so ******* sick of reading this nonsense.
