Imagine a remake of magnum opus “I’m Here” - I’d love to hear that with modern vocals. :WAP:

Here you go again with such excellent taste. For so many good reasons, they should be listening to you

Here you go again
Doubting yourself
For no good reason
You're listening to someone else…

I didn't know the producer was responsible for the leak. What an ass. :skull:

Not just likely responsible for the leak but also guilty of responding to emails from fans of theirs saying things like "They'll never get signed with work ethic like theirs" because he believed his album to be shelved before it officially was; when in reality, they were still in negotiations with labels shopping around that very album. A loon.

Wow didn't know that part of the story.

I only knew that he shared the files to the fans and the fans were the ones who leaked the whole thing.

I don't see them that fond of the album, so I think that ain't much of a lose.

Such an amazing album though so I can't be too mad but ugh :wanda:

I don't think that they dislike the Hothouse album but rather they dislike that point in their careers. Putting in all that work to be told no over and over really discouraged them and is what they referred to in Ten Years press as the time "music became their enemy." Hothouse likely gets caught in the crossfire of a lot of emotional turmoil from that time. Though, they did recently say (without naming him or the album) that they let David take too much control over that album while discussing how much input they had working with Yves on ATOTB and how healthy their collaboration is.

I love it so much even though is super flawed, it is overproduced and I hate how bad they sound some songs (mostly Boy, Heart and 53rd Floor) compared to the studio versions.

I see, well I'm super happy that they are in a better place and that they feel like they are now in complete control of their own music. The music they have been releasing since their Ten Years comeback has been absolutely stunning and they are getting better and better with every release.

I'm so proud to be their fan.

ugh the way that song still hits after more than a decade. I would stream the new version everyday if there ever would be one :jonny4:

I hate to be that one fan but I wish they would do something with Boy, since we’re already on Hothouse topic. A&A were definitely aware of the demand for that song and worked on multiple iterations of it, even performed it on Ten Years tour. Even though they’ve been releasing way better music since then, I just wish we got a proper closure (:gaycat3:) to it via an official release on digital and streaming.

No, they can't. Besides, they don't want to release it, why would they after what David did to them.

yet they sold an exclusive amount that sold out quickly for fans? make it make sense. from my understanding he leaked the album? again their is no hamr is getting work that is done out officially especially if it's already completed to recoup their losses. take the power and control back sistrens.

the irony of this site hating male popstars but salivate over the lowest denominator in real life. the joke writes itself.

He leaked the entire album after they decided to shelve it and said some condescending comments I believe. If they were ever to officially release it, he would get a lot of the royalties which I'm sure they wouldn't really want

it was pretty stupid of them to shelve it though. is a great album. this was around the time where they were the sister act equivalent of sky ferreira when it came to music releases.

oh yikes i didn't know that it was that deep like that. these girls are hard working. that's why they were busy being booked actresses to fund for their independent music state.

damn sucks that it's tainted for them. still think that they should somehow find a middle ground so tat all parties are happy and that body of work can find a worldwide form of release. their work is immaculate and should be celebrated.

He’s not gay himself, but he does a lot for the LGBT+ community.

He even founded this festival:

I really do hope a Hothouse (A&A Version) is in their cards. I'm sure they can make a better album know with their current experience.

I genuinely don't know anything about them but I just heard “a touch of the beat…” a few weeks ago and it's definitely one of the best projects I've heard recently!

OT: I love seeing people react to @Cutthroat's profile photos. A legend!

I swear I have only heard this remake like twice or thrice since its release.

I mean, thus one is miles better than the original but I wasn't fond of the original either so I'm not that shocked I havent replayed it that much.

It happens every time I upload a new Dan Reynolds gif. Not me being better at promoting ID than their own management. :gaycat6:

And welcome aboard the Aly & AJ express! They’re one of the few artists that are just consistently great each era. It’s insane that they were only 12 and 14 years old when they wrote their debut album as it’s better lyrically than what some people release in their 30s. :rip:
