sis, I have no idea country acts are doing arenas, let alone stadiums. :rip: when I hear about country concerts, I think of small parking lot shows, or in a barn or something. :rip:

I think they usually stick to barns and state fairs, but there’s definitely like 5 country acts that are tour power houses :gaycat6:

marren Morris is playing a barn in my town next month

To think Gaga has so many classics :jonny2:  And… Shallow will hit 2 Billion Streams on Spotify at the end of this year (or Jan 2023) :jonny5::jonny5:

The power of this song is insanse, and to think radio never played it as much as you’d think given the success

As ATRL's faves run to tiktok via their label to see which old sing they can give a boost this week, and the 'drag' Gaga's flop career!!11  Gaga sings jazz covers to 1.5m per night theatre gig whilst simultaneously has  one of her recent hits covered by a country legend :sistrens:

that become actually better for the song in the long run tho. nobody wants to stream a song that spammed on radio for months!

now people taking their time to go on spotify and stream it since its released and soon it will be at 2B streams :gaygacat5:

Garth Brooks is one of the biggest selling artists in US History, like he's #2 after The Beatles in total album sales here with like several diamond albums if I'm not mistaken. I live in Oklahoma (his home state) and he's like God here. So many things are named after him here :rip:

I mean, not that surprising for a country legend in the US :gaycat6:

let’s take him to Korea and see how he fairs :giraffe:

Not South Korea but he had 5 stadium dates (80k) booked in Ireland a few years ago. All sold out. For reference Madonna was only able to book our second biggest stadium (30k people) for the MDNA tour.

Hate to break it to you, but Garth is one of the most liberal performing country artists there is. Him & Trisha were very much pro Democrat/left wing during a time when it was a death sentence in country to be so. I don't enjoy his music minus a few songs, but I'd bet there are not as many Trumptards there as we'd think.

Just because someone is liberal doesn't mean his fans are liberal leaning tho. He is still a country star afterall. Look at some states he is touring... Idaho, Arkansas, Alabama. States most artists don't even bother to visit.

It is still very admirable that he is trying to make a difference in country community tho. :clap3:

OT : What a classic :gaycat6:
