Gorgeous melody, lyrics, instrumental & Vocals(At times some of her best) BUT for me, the vocals can be the issue. If you're not a die hard Lana stan her vocals can be off putting at times on this song. Also I can only listen to this song a few times before her vocals become weird or jarring sounding to me. Like that super whisper style that she uses sometimes sounds like she had a really bad cough or something & sounds like she is losing her voice lol. But other than that I really do love the song. It's one of the best on COCC. Now a song that is the complete opposite of "white dress" when it comes to vocals is "Chemtrails" the song. Her vocal delivery on that song is perfection. Chefs kiss. I can listen to that song over & over & over again, & never ever get tired of it. It's amazzzzinnnng. The melodies, instrumental, lyrics & just everything is amazing. I really feel like that song would fit into a "greatest hits" type of collection. Just imagine something like this: Lana Del Rey: The Greatest 1. Born To Die 2. Summertime Sadness 3. Video Games 4. Ride 5. American 6. Gods & Monsters 7. West Coast 8. Brooklyn Baby 9. Shades of Cool 10. Freak 11. The Blackest Day 12. Honeymoon 13. Lust For Life Ft The Weeknd (Yes idc what anyone says this song is amazing) 14. Cherry 15. Love 16. Mariners Apartment Complex 17. Cinnamon Girl 18. The Greatest 19. Tulsa Jesus Freak 20. Chemtrails Over The Country Club 21. Wild At Heart 22. Text Book 23. Blue Banisters 24. Dealer Choosing 3 songs from each album was way harder to do then what I thought lol. Especially with Norman ******* Rockwell. I couldn't choose between Venice ***** **** it, I Love You Love Song Happiness is A Butterfly Doin Time Hope is A Dangerous Thing To have, But I have it & well you get the point. Such an amazing album. Never thought that we would literally get Lanas Best American Record in 2019 lol. She has such an amazing discography.
