They're the only non US female artists to have any multi-plat albums in the US from 2011s-now.

 

For the last 12 years, no other female artist outside of the US has achieved this feat.

 

Last who did it was Susan Boyle in 2010.

 

Why is that?

Camila claimed American citizenship in 2008. Nicki hasn't I think. Rihanna definitely hasn't

I’m opposite. I’ve never seen her as an American. It’s the accent for me.

Perhaps the OP should allow 2xPlatinum eligible albums and artists from any known official platinum eligible sites... otherwise we could end up with a lot of ridiculous claims claiming 2xPlatinum eligible status. In any case, maybe this thread probably belongs in the charts section of this site.

Well yea the problem is a lot of albums and singles are always eligible for whatever whatever and is undercertified, but as of right now, officially from what is certified or not, these are the only ones that are multi-Platinum, at least according to RIAA.

 

Put it this way. If someone made a thread about Diamond certified singles, surely you won't argue that this single or that single is technically eligible for Diamond now would you? So the same applies here.

 

We always thought 'Superbass' was eligible for Diamond aaaaggeees ago but it wasn't officially certified till 2 years ago because it only officially hit 10m sales 2 years ago and not ages ago like what estimates say.
