The new trailer isn't that good, but honestly I prefer that to trailers that give the the entire plot / all the actual funny parts of the movie away.

If one trailer about a comedy film could give ''all the actual funny parts'' away, then the actual film itself might have a big problem imo.

Whew none of the jokes were funny but if the twist is that they go into the real world that would kind of slay :jonny5:

that's literally the first plot detail that was unveiled last year :skull:

The trailer was cute but none of the jokes were funny, is the same dummy lines in the style of the GotG3, Shazam 2, Peacemaker kinda humor.

And sorry but Ryan looks too crusty vs Margot who is 10 years younger, I’ll be watching but yeah this could backfire.

Why are some users so offended because people think the trailer is boring? :biblionny: it's not that deep...

How comes that half of the cast of Sex Education is here?

i blame Warner and its ongoing finical crisis, they must be unable to afford competent trailer editor, it shows with their strings of boring trailers.:noparty:

Unfortunately that was a bad trailer… but I’m still hopeful for the actual movie. The potential is there, I just really hope they commit to the commentary.

The trailer is fine but again it’s serving Enchanted level satire without the twist of actually showing Barbie in the real world. See also the trailer for Elf. It‘s such an easy comedy sell but they seem to want to show off the colourful visual gags of ‘Barbieland’ instead as a hook Super Mario Bros style. Also why is Margot still using that accent?

We’ll see how it shakes out with audiences in the end.

Underwhelming teaser but the film might still deliver, there's so much hype that I don't think it hurts much as long as the rest of the promo is solid tbh

it’s called a teaser for a reason

I’ll be nice and say that the look, feel and humor displayed in the trailer are going to make this a hit amongst girls aged 5-10.

That trailer was not it, lol.

Hopefully this will be like M3gan where I hated the trailer at first but the movie itself was quite funny.

that was awful. w directors rarely do well with bid budget zhao, duvernay and jenkins and the list goes on. thers a pattern here.

I thought the trailer was cute tbh! I'm surprised a lot of people didn't like it.

It's the first official trailer, the teaser was the one released months ago.

No, it isn't. It's a second teaser trailer.

what's the main demographic for this movie? this doesn't look like a movie for kids. Looks like its main demo are gays in their 20s, pushing 30s. :dies:

It is the teaser, num nuts. They're not going to give the whole plot away in the teaser trailer :deadbanana4:

We are three months out and this is the second trailer we have after the Avatar teaser that every outlet will be pushing — this will for all intents and purposes act as the big showreel for most people and it’s at best serving scattershot energy.

its crazy to me that some of u think this is not gonna be successful...

there are some cases of ATRL delusion around here...

And good luck with WB thinking this trailer is going to be a major draw with adult audiences enough to make a profit on $100m+ costs :rip:

Looks a corny mess.

So glad I opted out of this movie. I too was offered a role but it conflicted with my schedule at the time of filming. I really dodge a bullet with this one.
