poki Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 If he ever gets to do an Oscars speech I want him to do the "bhahaha" laugh
Puttanesca Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Finally watched it and teared up multiple times throughout. It captured so much of the female experience
Junho_lover Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Woohoo movie deserves all of the success! I gotta see it again.
pxxxtrick Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Finally saw this last night and LOVED it. The entire cast was amazing, but Margot, Ryan, Emma Mackey >>>
FameFatale Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 I saw it last night and I thought it was alright. I think the last half drug a little too long. 1
Lost In Paradise Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 finished my full Barbenheimer yesterday and .... I thought both films were good, not great. neither deserved the hype they got at all imo. I can't help but think the massive praise that Barbie gets is mainly due to people feeling like they're "on the right side of herstory" by supporting and gagging over this film. it had some fun moments but it's not profound or as heartwarming as Gerwig's other films.

Käärijä Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 Too many ''haha men are dumb'' feminist takes for me. I get it that they are trying to explain to us that that is how women felt when they were treated like they were less than men, but many people, specially female, who go and see the movie don't realise about the latter. 7

Tell us more about the “female” experience and what they’re not realising! 1
