Depends on Japan and post summer break run. Mario biggest international market, with $98M gross, was/is Japan. I think Barbie is going to crush it in the $99M spot, it wont touch the 100M mark.  Mario is running in Japan has been outperforming The Little Mermaid in Japan since the last weekend.  

 

Also, it was  not released in Korea until 26 April (two weeks after) and some also some few small markets.  Korea was not a big market for Mario, only 19M gross total. That wont change much though.
