I liked it! but the plot lost its way halfway through.

 

 

 

at first, the plot seems to be about Barbie having an existential crisis, then it becomes about how men are still in charge. then it's about feminism. then it ends with Barbie wanting to become human? it was a bit all over the place. but I liked it nonetheless

Almost fell asleep halfway through the movie.

 

I mean it's not bad, it has some cute 45 minutes in the beginning but it's not the life changing experience the hardcore feminists are making it out to be.

 

Great set designs and cinematography tho!

Also, the soundtrack was really well incorporated, especially the Lizzo track. It even made like DTN.

if you're talking about the one Barbie says hi to it in the beginning it definitely wasn't Kathryn Hahn, she looked asian

It was just so RICH with references and commentaries, almost too on the nose in some cases and the plot got a bit messy towards the end

 

Otherwise ******* stunning. The amount of talent behind the movie is next level 

 

Very much giving Avatar/Titanic in its ambition
