It seems like that, Iβm Just Ken and What Was I Made For? are the standout song momentsΒ

Blade Runner Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 "For the first 30 minutes or so Barbie is a fun, feather-weight satire...Then the stuff about patriarchy kicks in and the film turns into a thinly disguised #metoo rant, trading comedy for man-bashing and a lot of confused point-scoring about sexism." Β Β These f+king reviews.Β Die already.Β
Tangane Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 (edited) I've watched the movie yesterday and I've had such a good time!! The camp of it all, the songs, the tone... Everything was so good! Ryan Gosling really ate with that role! He was the perfect level of cringe haha! Β My only critics would be that there is a lot of characters that don't really have a role, or very minimal! Β Spoiler Even the character of America Ferrera would have been useless if she wasn't the one giving an incredible speech towards the end of the movie. Β Edited July 19, 2023 by Tangane 1

Gossip_Boy Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Looks like it will settle somewhere in the low 90s/high 80s. I was expecting the score to be in the 70s so thatβs great. Now letβs hope it gets a good cinemascore as well. 1
