Also I think Mattel considers this era as a dark age, they only made more fashionable because of Bratz. The legal issues and general dumpings on Barbie during that time makes it less desirable?

the way tickets for the "Barbie Night" screenings they're doing in NL are basically 90% sold out

Hugely excited and massively impressed by everything about this film so far except for the underwhelming half-assed songs made for the soundtrack album. Is the Charli song really featured in the film?  Did Greta really listen to it and say 'yes' this is perfect? Did she approve of that chaotic Nicki and Ice Spice cut? What kind of roundtable did she have with Mark Ronson?

 

I do hope that overall direction of the film does keep it camp but classy and not messy

Don't speak on topics you don't know **** about. While I'm annoyed that Barbie is possibly getting banned from my country (Philippines), I completely get where the outrage is coming from. China has been bullying countries around them (Vietnam, Malaysia) over sovereignty of the South China Sea. This only shows that Hollywood is continuing to kiss China's ass for ticket sales. So to call these "drama queens" is trivializing the situation. But you called Philippines "Asia" in another thread so what do we really expect? Hope you educate yourself soon
