Don't be sad sis and enjoy the movie, I will probably have to go alone as well.  

 

One of my friends, who always goes to the movies with me, decided she doesn't want to see Wicked anymore because it's not her "kind of movie", even though we talked about seeing the movie together months ago and I asked her like twice about it, so **** it.

 

I'd rather go alone now instead of getting upset over that kindergarten behavior.

It's ok to go alone tbh! Wanna see wicked by myself first and then with friends….. sounds weird but I think seeing it with friends for the first time would be overstimulating. Plus you can take it in!!!

I went on Monday with this guy who is into me, but trying to remain friends. That **** was annoying af ngl. Anytime I went to go whisper something he tried to touch lips or touch hands while eating popcorn. I should've gone by myself  

 

On top of that, he knew all the songs and he would sing them along. Like ***** I'm trying to hear Ariana

I watched it alone a couple of hours ago and trust me, it didn't make the movie any less magnificent!

 

Non-spoiler review: all of the criticisms against this film were debunked! From the color-grading, musical performances, to the acting, WICKED DELIVERED 💯 GREATNESS! 😭

 

I knew Ariana would body G(a)linda but my goodness, Cynthia's Elphaba was just exquisite. Both these ladies are very much deserving of the acclaim they're getting. 👏🏼

Hmm, honestly I don't see it. ASIB's soundtrack is pop adjacent because the main antagonist is a pop star. 
 

Wicked's music is very theatrical and based on the current hot 100, I doubt this will be consumed by the GP as they did with ASIB. I'd like to be proven wrong though.

Same. Like it's too much. I accidentally touch his feet and he tries to move his closer and stuff. Thank God he doesn't initiate stuff and was trying to get me to initiate. Can't have friends nowadays

Honestly, no. I mean it depends what it sounds like in the soundtrack. I can see Defying Gravity (if it's done well without the speaking parts) becoming somewhat of a hit but maybe not on a "We Don't Talk About Bruno" or "Shallow" kind of way. Like a cute 12-15 week chart with a high peak.

The songs can't get nominated for best original song, can they? They're not original to the movie.

None of the songs in part 1 can be nominated, but part 2 is supposed to have 2 new songs

Hey everyone. So dumb question but what was Ariana wearing or applying on her ears?

 

If you look at the Mexico or NYC premiere pictures, there's like something like black ink, a little bit in the upper/top part of her ears, like inner side. I know this sounds creepy or gross but I promise its not in that way.

 

Was just wondering if those are something like tattoo ink or by wearing something during promotions.
