It just happens to be filmed outside. So far the majority of the film was filmed in Sky Studios in London which are huge. I'm sure they had set pieces inside the studios as well, we just didn't see them because obviously it's a closed location that no one has access to but the crew/people working on the movie. This shot was taken by a helicopter/drone. I don't totally remember what this set is, but it's possible Thank Goodness (ari scene) and No One Mourns The Wicked could potentially be filmed here. I'm sure it's hybrid (a lot of real sets mixed with CGI - kinda like what Beauty and The Beast was) It's also funny to me that people are shocked the Wicked movies are high-budget Oz the Great and Powerful had a budget of $215m ($280m in 2023 dollars) and these movies are by far gonna be more expensive to produce. I think we may see Dorothy and the other characters from the original Oz film here too, but I suppose more of a glimpse than anything.
