Jude Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Don't wanna jinx it but this could become the biggest movie of 2024. 1
publikcitizen Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I'm predicting a range of $550M to $700M for the total WW box office. It likely will be a profitable movie for Universal. I think this will be domestic heavy though. Not sure how it'll do internationally. I can see it being a big hit in the UK. Is this being released in China? 1
Kismet Posted October 11 Posted October 11 The marketing team on this movie is IT. I have seen Stanley cups, H&M collab, BEIS collab, expensive candles, all sorts of dolls, Lego sets, her own makeup brand (of course), and that's just a fraction of what they got their hands on. They aren't playing with this movie. 2
Pop Fan Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Oh Gaga, don't make that face and get off the floor. Your movie may have tanked harder than anything else and is a complete and utter failure but at least you got a new album out of it. Wait…That was a horrible idea, people didn't care about it whatsoever and it debuted with tragic sales and flopped into obscurity. Liddos pretend that Harlequin never happened because of its intergalactic tankery. She was the laughing stock of Joker 2 and Harlequin was just an embarrassment. All of this had to be a really humbling experience for her. 5
Smarticle Posted October 11 Posted October 11 OGHs jumping on this movie to drag JFAD, just shameless 2

LustSpell Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) Shameless. So many people were saying this was gonna flop because of the hate train Ari experienced earlier this year with the homewrecking allegations The second the success rolls in, people switch in an instant Edited October 11 by LustSpell 7

However Wicked could realistically make a play for top 5 or even top 3 biggest movies of the year if the pre-sales are an accurate indication. It's going to open big. The second movie is already done. There is 0% chance it will be cancelled even if the first movies bombs which it's not going to at this rate. Universal wants this to smash big time so they can continue milking the IP for all its worth. 3 1
Magdalene Posted October 11 Posted October 11 if this optimistically manages to reach the 1B club would ariana be the first MPG to lead a billion grossing picture?

Dialamba Posted October 11 Posted October 11 It had to be since she sacrificed her music career and personality for this
Infatuation_Junkie Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) Damn, gaga should've jumped on this film instead. Edited October 11 by Infatuation_Junkie
