Jude Posted Monday at 11:39 PM Posted Monday at 11:39 PM Ariana Grande wins 3 awards today for the Best Supporting Female Actor category HCA Astra Awards Atlanta Film Critics Circle Awards Michigan Movie Critics Guild Awards and a Golden Globes nomination which is very hard to get not everyone has that! 5

She just won at the San Diego Film Critic Awards, shes the Best Supporting Actress with the most wins so far at these circles with 4 (San Diego, Michigan, Astra, Atlanta), Zoe has 2 (Cannes and Astra) and Rosselini also has (Boston and Washington), LA and New York are missing, those are the most important 3 2

Jude Posted Tuesday at 01:00 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:00 AM (edited) It's clear that Zoe has the international votes. For some reason EP is a very well-received film from the industry people outside the US particularly in Europe. I'm suspecting there's a hidden agenda behind this weird push considering EP is not well received by the critics and the audience. Edited Tuesday at 01:01 AM by Jude 1
Jude Posted Tuesday at 01:19 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:19 AM (edited) Her humility never ceases to amaze me. One of the most humble popstars out there for sure. Edited Tuesday at 01:19 AM by Jude 2
Magickarp Posted Tuesday at 02:13 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:13 AM Ben Shapiro stanning Cynthia so hardhe pretty much said Cynthia is the best Elphaba ever, & he wants her to win the Oscar for Best Actress He did NOT like Ariana tho, which I hard disagree with, & so do most of the comments. He's right in that Ariana can't compare to Kristin, but she was still phenomenal imo. To me Ariana > Cynthia. 17:16 I do agree with him that Defying Gravity was ruined by the director. It was WAY to cut up. DG should've been a song that builds and builds, but it just slams back to the ground like 5 times. The final note was great tho, but it would've been better without all the unnecessary cutaways.

EP was fantastic and they deserve all the noms and wins But if i had to choose between Ari and Zoe , Ari smashed that our of the park
Zaynsus Posted Tuesday at 05:13 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:13 AM Everyone's talking about the final note of Defying Gravity but the Wizard and I one is even more impressive. And she delivered that barely 15 minutes into the movie.

Donquizote Posted Tuesday at 11:33 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:33 AM There's consensus among regional critics that they are rallying behind Ariana for Best Supporting Actress nomination. She doesn't need one because she'll get the support from industry regardless. But this critical acclaim so far from regional critics prove that Ari has a big chance to win Oscar.

Hard disagree. Everything about the "Defying Gravity" sequence is perfect, literally everything. The way it builds is unbelievable and so tense, which is why the payoff at the end has been having everyone sobbing. 3
