TeamThiem Posted Sunday at 11:06 PM Posted Sunday at 11:06 PM The dance scene and Defying Gravity moved me to tears. Ariana has a fantastic high kick! Great movie! Loved Jonathan Bailey eye ******* every character during his song. Whew! 4
Jude Posted Sunday at 11:26 PM Posted Sunday at 11:26 PM My country is stanning hard. For context, P100M for a film is already considered a success here so Wicked doing more than double of it already in just 2 weeks is amazing. 8
Lightbringer007 Posted Sunday at 11:26 PM Posted Sunday at 11:26 PM period! keep streaming the soundtrack yall 4

We have to see what next weekend's drop looks like.

Donquizote Posted Monday at 06:17 PM Posted Monday at 06:17 PM Wicked soundtrack is rising on US Spotify despite holiday songs smashing the chart now Defying Gravity: 21 (+9) What Is This Feeling: 40 (+8) Popular: 43 (+8) Dancing Through Life: 92 (+19) No One Mourns The Wicked: 95 (+18) Seems like another great week for Wicked in both box office and soundtrack. The movie is making lots of money from box office and music 2

Let me clown 🤡 But musicals are hard to track because it all depends on week over week holds and very poor comps. (Every musical that is a hit feels like an "unexpected" hit). I think deadline said that it is tracking with Wonka and The Greatest Showman which would give it an international gross of 300M-450M. In the US it seems that a gross of at least 450M is likely based on how well its holds have been so far. Obviously 700 is an exaggeration, but I expect an extra push from Christmas in its 6th weekend which will be hard to predict.
KKW Posted Monday at 06:58 PM Posted Monday at 06:58 PM They need to make What Is This Smashing a single

These next few weekends will be dicey because if the competition with Moana and Gladiator weren't enough, Mufasa and Sonic 3 are coming too
