Donquizote Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 This will have crazy longevity. Thinking it can cross 800M when all said and done. 4
Donquizote Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Seems like many people are disappointed with Moana 2. Time for Wicked to take over next weekend when Moana hype is gone 4 4
Blue Monday Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 not sure where that user went that told me I was silly for comparing it to the Greatest Showman, but 6 1
Disconnect Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 I can't believe how obsessed I am with this movie and its soundtrack lmao. I'm about to watch it for the 3rd time this weekend lol. The last time this happened to me with a movie was Infinity War... I also keep on streaming the Soundtrack because it's so ******* amazing. Not only are the vocals great but also the music and arragenments are amazing too. 8 1

Dreamboy Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Tickets bought for a screening tonight, I'll try to snatch the Glinda popcorn bucket as I already own the Elphaba cup. This time I'll watch it in regular 2D. 1

Jude Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Remember when last year everyone was thinking Wicked would bomb hard and JFAD would be the event of the year? 11

Dreamboy Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Just got home from my second screening, everyone gave a big round of applause at the end. And THAT end, ladies and gentleman, what an ending... Couldn't help but burst into tears again, it is a movie that definitely gets to our dept - especially into the ones that were bullied back in school days, like me. Best film of the year as I said on my review when I first saw it. I'm afraid I can say it turned out to be my favorite musical film, a place that Hairspray (2007) has held in my heart for the last 17 years. Can't believe there's still a full year until we get part 2, they could release it within the next 6 months imo. Can't wait to see Cynthia and Jonathan's performance of As Long as You're Mine, it is my favorite song in the second act. 6
Gorjesspazze9 Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 I went in not knowing a single thing about this, other then it was like some wizard of oz broadway musical…. and OH MY GOD!!! This is a 10/10 best movie of the year and one of the best cinematic films I've ever seen. I was just going cuz I'm a Ariana stan. But I was blown away. Legit had no problems other than it was kinda long. I can't wait for the next one 5
