I don't know why that got me so bad. I'm not even an easily startled person Spoiler YES! I jolted in my seat. I wasn't expecting it at all.
Jude Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 With 12 Kendrick new songs above them. This is amazing. 5
watermelonshake Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Saw it yesterday, really enjoyed it! I saw the stage show just last year so it was relatively fresh in my mind. Only negative was too many small children in my screening who clearly had skibidi toilet attention spans and shouldn't have been taken to a 2:40 long musical. Never saw so many people and come back so many times. My audience applauded at the end. 2
Jude Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 DG is basically at #10 without the album bomb. 3
Jude Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Not sure if this was posted already but these are the rumored salary (in USD) of the cast: Ariana - 15M Michelle - 2M Jeff - 2M Cynthia - 1M Jonathan Bailey - 450k Ethan - 350k Marissa - 250k Bowen - 250k 1

I don't know why I kept seeing so many people - especially film bros - calling it a kids movie just because it's PG I guess. I didn't see a single kid in my Friday night showing. The audience for this was always gonna be adult women and gays. Kids don't know Wicked. My screening had SO many kids in it, a lot of really small kids, too. Don't know what their parents were thinking but you could definitely feel restlessness in the theatre and there were a LOT of pee breaks taken, just people going back and forth the entire movie.

greeneyedsoul Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Wait... Opening numbers for films are just the 3 weekend days?

Cynthia getting the 4th largest salary, despite being the lead of the film and having lightyears more work to do than Michelle and Jeff combined. 2 3

Unless it's both movies combined, There's no way they'd give the two leads such a massive difference in pay. 1
Thuggin Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 The numbers would definitely be for both movies because they filmed both at once, but I don't believe those numbers at all tbh
