Ngl, I had my doubts on Ariana when she was announced to be in this, and I am so happy to be proven wrong

 

You can literally see it in her eyes in defying gravity, how much that moment means to her. She and Cynthia were both phenomenal

I saw it Monday and it hasn't left my mind  I think the last film to evoke this much emotion in me was Everything Everywhere All At Once.

The speaking parts in the songs have a way different volume than the singing parts.

This doesn't bother me personally, but I do kinda giggle when Cynthia goes from the muffled spoken "it's me" to the perfectly sounding studio quality "it's meeeee" in Defying Gravity.

I watched the clip and she is basically saying that she hates any kind of musical, but she is definitely going to see Wicked this Sunday, most likely, wherever she is going to watch it (somewhere over the UK).
