OnlyManInTheWorld Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 I really thought FAD was gonna break records and give Gaga an acting Oscar. I even fantasized about it in my dreams 7 2
Feetree Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Predicting a high 80s RT score once all said and done similar to Barbie 1

Maybe it'll be around 3.5 there, which is pretty good Letterboxd doesn't verify reviewer if they have actually seen the movie or not. As long as you have an old account you can leave a review. No way it's more reliable. RT actually verifies their audience score. 3

Venice B Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 How can there be audience scores when the movie hasn't even been released yet?

ericcartman Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Don't be sad monsters, GaGa had her big moment with ASIB. Let Ariana have her shine

IsidoraMarí Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Saw it last night and contributed to that percentage. It is PERFECTION! 3
SweetenerNostalgia Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 currently it has a 4.3 on letterboxd 1
TROPICUM Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 We had a screening at my uni yesterday and holy **** such a crowd pleaser... like this incoming SMASH Cynthia has a shot at BA but I feel like Ariana is locked for BSA like a moment most pleasing to my career

Wizard of Oz was my fav movie as a kid, I've never seen Wicked the musical so i went into this not really knowing much and all the Oz references made my inner kid so happy Ari absolutely devoured but honestly the whole cast was pretty spot on. I got full body chills the first note Ari sang at the beginning, I miss those more operatic vocals from her, and although I never saw the play you can def tell she's emulating Kristin's energy a lot here. this is def my favorite movie this year and i already wanna see it again her and Cynthia play off of each other so well Reveal hidden contents and the surprise cameos ***** everyone went bonkers in the theater When actors are not just their for a pay check you get somthing great

Thuggin Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 So far the main complaints I've seen seem to be about the cinematography. I barely even see anyone complaining about the length either. Most of the critics said it flew by and especially picked up in the last hour. Cynthia and Ariana seem to be getting praise as well as the music numbers I wonder if now that reviews seem good if this is locked for a $100M+ opening
