Although I certainly don't condone it, I don't think turning someone blind and almost beating them to death is an appropriate response to a consensual relationship, even if one of the parties was say 17.

Is it just me or has there been a visible increase in attacks on the LGBT population in various countries? There was that case in Ireland a few weeks ago where a guy murdered two gay men he arranged to meet on Grindr. 

These people are inhuman monsters and deserve to rot in jail for the rest of their lives. That guy should sue for everything he can, unfortunately he will never ever get his sight back because of these monsters.

anyway, I feel like there's more to this story since the young boyfriend was involved.
I feel like they might be asking for a ransom, and these refugees are living off of this, now blinded, guy's ransom and are involved in a crime racket
