He is definitely shading Shia. In 12:05 Shia says that he hasnt showered in 8 months (exactly the number of months that Jon talked in the OP interview). They were like best friends though...

method acting CAN and often is a very violent way of performing than can lead to abuse, violence, and mental health issues for both the actor using the method, the co-stars, colleagues and crew workers
