305 Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I've done this in the past but thought it would be fun to bring back! Pick an era of any album of your choosing, input the track list into this website : https://www.random.org/lists/ Then post the the "singles" according to how many songs were released from that album How would this new era fair with the real one?
305 Posted April 21, 2022 Author Posted April 21, 2022 I'll start. Planet Her 1. "Naked" 2. "Get Into It (Yuh)" 3. "Need to Know" 4. "Options" (featuring JID) 5, "Been Like This" Not bad 1. "Good 4 U" 2. "Favorite Crime" 3. "Hope Ur OK" 4. "Deja Vu" Can't imagine Drivers License not being the lead, let alone not being a single at all, but this seems good
Saddy Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Glitter 1. Loverboy Cameo 2. Never Too Far 3. Don't Stop (Funkin' 4 Jamaica) 4. Reflections (Care Enough) (not randomizer putting actual singles first lol) ISON 1. Hero 2. Shahmaran 3. Do You Feel Real 4. Libertine No Name 1. Mara 2. On My Skin 3. Put Your Hands Up
Achilles. Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I did Lover thinking it couldn’t possibly be worse than the actual single choices, and it gave me Soon You’ll Get Better for the lead single. Needless to say, I tried again. 1. Afterglow 2. Cruel Summer 3. Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince 4. The Archer very midtempo singles run, wouldn’t have suited the album very well.

[Promo single] Hard to Forget Ya 5. Slumber Party So... the same

Sanctuary Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 The Fame 1. Summerboy lowkey could have been a surprise Summer smash 2. Brown Eyes probably wouldn't have even charted 3. Beautiful, Dirty, Rich maybe a minor radio hit...? 4. I Like It Rough DOA 5. Paparazzi Too little too late, a kii that we still could get the VMAs performance in this timeline though

Rei Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Taylor’s best album REPUTATION. ‘Gorgeous ‘…Ready For It?’ ‘Dancing With Our Hands Tied’ ‘So It Goes…’ Would’ve smashed equally since every single track is single worthy. K bye for now, Sunshine. <3
JohnWayneHolland Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Chromatica (she only released 2 singles but since she made 3 videos I'm going with that number) 1. 1000 Doves 2. Enigma 3. Free Woman Chromatica is already her worst era but this would've made it even worse
EnigmaticAndroid Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Born This Way: 1. The Edge of Glory (would've been bigger as a lead than BTW tbh) 2. The Queen 3. Government Hooker (a Judas moment) 4. Electric chapel (would've bombed ) 5. Americano
JoeAg Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 1. Hounds of Love 2. The Big Sky 3. Cloudbusting 4. Running Up That Hill hmmm I feel like Running Up That Hill WOULD still have at least 3/4 of the impact it has today being a fourth single, but at the same time I can't imagine it finding nearly as much success as a hit being the fourth single like I could imagine it being the second single, but still pre-release, and getting chart success. like imagine if Hounds of Love were an early summer single and then Running Up That Hill were released a week before the album drop. that would be kind of iconic
