Years and decades later both Christina and Katy still having up questions in intwerviews about it. Also they had something that give them edge over other, Christina with vocals and Katy with sex appeal. I would say Xtina was somewhat in the shadow, mainly because she came out right after Britney and her label was actually trying to appease to the same market as Britney due to BOMT enormous success, that made people compare the two a lot. Christina Aguilera has always been in Britney's shadow since she debuted. Even 24 years later all of the interviews she does end up having many questions about Britney Spears. We all know Britney has barely done any interviews, especially beyond surface level, for a long time. But even Britney did X Factor she did have many questions about Christina and before that she was always asked about Christina too. Gaga was ahead of Katy on 2009 and part of 2010 but they were neck to neck in 2011 then in 2013-2014 Katy was ahead of Gaga so both have their time to shine.
