The way the usual keep repeating the same nonsense over and over.

What is the ‘none-sense’ that is being repeated?

But I am specifically referring to your comment, not reasons why people support Johnny Depp and their supposed "hatred for women".

I feel like I am speaking to one of those automated chats or something.

Am I delirious?

Sis just don’t pay attention to lil ambers. It’s clear they ignore all her lies and the verdict and they have made this thread their cave for conspiracies theories. Just let the post their narrative while we move on like the entire world has.

Not that user choosing to enter this thread only to fume and complain about the fact that it’s still active :deadbanana4:

Sis no one is forcing you to enter nor engage with the discussions happening here, it makes no sense for you to enter a thread you have no interest in only to tell people to stop posting in it. The real question is, why does it bother you that the thread is still active?

At least wait for the appeal to be finalized before you start knocking on her door to pay your fictional boyfriend his blood money.

ROFL "finalized"

As if they have even started what they are supposed to finalize.

There is no appeal pending luv. Yes, Elaine has said they will appeal but they have not actually filed an appeal at all. There's no reason to assume that they will do so just because they said they will.  Parties react emotionally to verdicts like that all the time. They say they "will" do this and that. But in the end they may do something else.  For all we know AH's team has already concluded that that appeal is not a viable path and losing is guaranteed and is moving over to negotiations with team JD in order to reach a settlement on the verdict. Only time will tell. Especially since losing an appeal on top of losing the original case will cost even more money — that will also be part and parcel of the decision making process (whether to appeal or not) of Elaine and Rotten & co.

Long story short, AH has not appealed. Only "pledged" to do so. But thanks to history we know how much her pledges are worth, namely diddly-squat :ahh:

the US jury that was not sequestered and exposed to social media fanfare made better use of the UK trial? ooookay  :ahh:

This is BS and you know it.

The public was pro JD at all times, also during the UK trial.

So blaming the US trial's outcome on public opinion is simply moronic and dim-witted analysis at best. The more relevant fact is the US trial came after the UK onetherefore the US case supersedes it, it takes over from it. The latest verdict of something is the valid version of any issue. Just as once upon a time the US supreme court considered blacks 3/5th of human beings and then ten or so years later they corrected themselves with a new verdict, which is the one that counts now. Order and precedence matters in case law.

And now that there is a verdict, feminists are showing courage and standing with the true victim in the case:

It's the one that counts. The judge actually went through every piece of evidence presented by both sides, explained what likely happened based on the evidence, and gave thorough explanations for each and every single one of the things he concluded.

We have 129-pages to understand how the judge arrived to his ruling. Who knows what the jurors were thinking when they decided to award Depp money for his three claims and Amber for one...

The verdict also doesn't say anything about Amber, other than her three claims being "false." It doesn't say she was abusive. The UK ruling, on the other hand, concluded that Depp had abused Amber at least 12 times.

But it’s not though, is it. :toofunny3: The US ruling is FINAL. Just because you don’t want to believe it doesn’t change that.

I honestly feel like I’m entering another dimension when I sneak a peek in here. I watched that whole trial and examined the evidence/testimony with my own two eyes, but I feel like I’m being gaslit. It’s truly bizarre. No disrespect to anyone who wants to believe what they want. I don’t have the energy.

I'm not "bothered" that the thread is active.

You guys just keep repeating yourself over and over acting like the verdict is going to change or something.

Definitely not dragging anyone. But I did watch the majority of the trial with a family member, who is a survivor of SA/DV… and yeah, I am more sensitive to how SHE felt after watching the trial. And she was happy with the verdict.

The Hearders still accusing others of not caring about domestic violence and even weaponizing domestic violence.

What are we repeating? Deppsters like you are the ones repeating the same redundant arguments of us having to “move on”. Whenever someone like you is challenged with valid arguments and evidence, you disappear.

Yeah cause being a victim of domestic violence automatically means you know who was the abuser?

No you didn't.

I suggest you run out of this thread before one of your organs implodes from seething, it's not that serious sis :heart2:

The internet is mean, nothing new about it. I feel bad for her, but yeah...

The world followed the whole case, and the jury confirmed what we all saw: a liar and a manipulator. It's confirmed so spare me your essays :sorry:

If you can accept the verdict of an UK hearsay trial, then you'll have to accept this verdict as well. Just move on :sorry:

Talk about sour grapes.

And yes, I did answer your question. Scroll up or find the reply on the other page.

Also, let me add that the verdict has already been made since it's not registering with you.

Accepting both verdicts means you agree that he is a wife beater, but you think she shouldn't be allowed to talk about it. Aren't you the one who said they were both at fault when he hit her cause she was provoking him by laughing at his tattoo? Makes sense.
