the stage looks cheap af :celestial5:

Okay glad I did not buy tickets :rip: love the album, but that stage is not it

Guys, the show is like 80-90 minutes. Most of the songs last 2-3 minutes.

She plays shortened versions of De Aquis No Sales/Bulerias, Diablo, Pienso En Tu Mira, Perdoname, La Combi Versace, Relacion, TKN, Blinding Lights, Como Un G, Con Altura and Sakura. And most of her other songs are very short anyways.

Yeah, the show is NOT it :deadbanana:

I was so ****ing pumped for this and then she comes with... that.

Even the intro looks like a $100 thing.

I might still try to go to Lisbon 'cause it's cheap there, but... yeah.

oh I forgot there was a thread for this

I went to the show last night and wow. I was a bit unimpressed by the videos and how basic the show looked on videos but seeing it live is just something else.

Rosalia's voice and performance ability is 10 out of 10.

and yeah they gave her MORE simis lol

I think people need to realize it's her first major tour, she doesn't have the budget yet for a mega tour like Gaga. It seems that they work the minimalism quite well anyway, the reception from people who have gone has been very positive.

Maybe in a few years if she can several Despecha/Con Altura-sized hits and cross over more into English speaking audiences she can have a bigger stage.

actually having seen the show live, the staging as it is makes total sense to me. The show feels more like a performace/installation rather than a pop show. Can't wait to see her live again

1 month until my show!

I went to the second Madrid show a month ago. It was AMAZING.

A completely different experience to watching videos on YouTube. It all makes sense once you experience it live.

So many highlights in the setlist. And "Cuuuuuuute" is dat closer!

Why is there a camera man on stage 95% of the time, walking in front of her and the dancers?!

It looks so messy!

Today is the show in my country, I couldn't get tickets. :chick3:

The show is ART, yall just dont get it while watching youtube videos

The whining. :rip: I am seeing her next month and I am ready. Based on what I have seen, she gives a show and I'll take it. Keep in mind, this isn't an arena tour. She's doing a mix of theaters and arenas (LATAM + Spain + Europe) so like... if you don't like it, then don't go.

Yeah, some of them have these high expectations of what a tour should be like. Not everyone likes it campy. She has good songs, they just lack taste.

Saw her in Altos de Chavon last Saturday. What an amazing and creative show and what a stunning showcase of a great album. The integration of the cameras and the screens is some the best I've seen in a live show.

Her energy was incredible all the way and I'm so glad she managed to bring in Tokischa for "Linda". Loved the audience interaction (she brought someone on stage to read a "Dominican alphabet") and her clear appreciation for the Dominican music and artists that inspire her so much. WE WERE WAITING FOR HER FOR SO LONG TOO!

Her "Hentai" performance was stunning, specially because Rauw was there. "CUUUUuuuuuute" was a perfect closer.

It would have been cool to see an "Aute Cuture" performance or have Tokischa come out again for "La Combi Versace", but you can't have it all I guess.

How early should I go for GA?

Posted

NYC last night was SO GOOD.

Posted

I was at the second New York concept and... WHEW :jonny2:

She is a PERFORMER. The audience was so into it and the camerawork just made it seem so intimate. The vocals were also just like the album.

What time does she usually go on stage? My Chicago show has a start time of 8PM, but what time is she on usually?

Are all the shows GA? Why do I see seats for some shows?!

Depends on the venue. The LA show is in a seated theater but there is a floor that is standing, some venues have all standing and a hybrid of both seated and standing.
