Shygirl - Cleo

- i like it better when she goes full on experimental that it is almost hyperpop. this is just okay. i really wish she went all out.

Mitski - Love Me More

- i agree with most critiques that Laurel Hell is mostly a letdown but let me say something so controversial yet so brave. this is probably one of her best songs. like top 10 in her discography.

Gonna Love Me - from a time when I had very little patience for Kanye and it filters over to this song  it's not bad but I doubt it'll get points

Wallflower - this is kinda great? Loving the underwater production and the smooth vocals. May check this man out further tbh

The Apple - this is really great, the production BANGS and I think the vocals might be polarising but I love how theatrical it is

Power of a Woman - she's a basic girl, I think she's already been completely outclassed this round and we're only 8 songs in

Movin' On - I like the brass and the bounce of it all and they both sound good, the chorus is a bit jarring though. Very early 00s

American Teenager - I randomly decided to wait an hour before sending and this was taken when I tried it  massive bop, a bit cliched but it all really works and I love how the final two choruses are slight switches

Cleo - the juxtaposition between cheap strings and cheap dance beats is a bit  I think it's nice but it's not a standout

Love Me More - yeah this is really nice, the album isn't a knockout but it is her best and underrated and I like how manic this gets

Til We Run Out of Air - one of the best songs from one of the year's best albums! I don't think her songs did particularly well in R1 though  good luck and you will be getting points from me
