He has bankrupted Kesha and yanked her net worth from $60M at the peak of her career to $5M (at one point it was as low as 500k). He has nothing to gain from this beyond torturing and controlling a young woman he abused.

Especially in the court system. It is entirely possible that given how it was initially mishandled that she had thought that this particular evidence was already included. When new evidence is brought to light about a case, isn’t there a precedent allowing them to retry?
