Konril Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Not Chazelle flopping too, I thought he would do great after First Man.
Riot Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 With all these movies underperforming, I think that Jamie Lee Curtis could sneak in Best Supporting Actress

Xantalli Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 Amsterdam flopping! Babylon flopping! WB sidelining her Harley for another! Disney cancelling the Pirates of the Caribbean film! Both her Harley Quinn led films tanking! Maybe it was too early calling Margot the new it girl
mokitsu Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 TÁR is incredible. Fully behind Cate's win now and any Directing, Screenplay and Score nods too.
Green Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Is Tom Cruise coming for a Best Actor nomination?

Denim Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 havent seen toooooo many movies so far this season, but so far I’m rooting for Angela Bassett and Michelle Yeoh in supporting and lead.

Liafen Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Blanchett in Tár is a masterpiece. Would be undeniable in any other year; Yeoh’s narrative + passion behind EEAAO (and her gorgeous acting, obviously) could hurt her chances though.
DONTYELLATME Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 (edited) Cate doesn’t need another oscar, Yeoh does an actual overdue winner that deserves Edited November 23, 2022 by DONTYELLATME
Liafen Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Cate would be a deserving winner and deserving of a third. She has solidified herself as one of the greats this past decade. But yes, the urgency to reward Yeoh is bigger. I won't be mad either way, maybe a bit sadder for Yeoh if Blanchett is indeed taking it.
