I'll find a way for Paul to get his nod, trust me!

Out of 23 films I saw at TIFF, bar none, this was the absolute worst film I saw.

I love Paul Mescal. I scoured tickets for this. It ended up being a pretentious art house film where, no exaggeration, nothing happens. 90 minutes of two people on vacation with no plot, premise, conflict, or buildup. The RT rating is baffling.

The Golden Globes will add new categories in the TV section:

  • Best Supporting Actor / Best Supporting Actress (Drama or Comedy)
  • Best Supporting Actor / Best Supporting Actress (Limited Series)

Netflix just updated their FYC website. https://film.netflixawards.com

so they will just mainly focus on Ana, Baumbach, Glass Onion and Pinocchio. It's funny because Bardo was supposed to be their main focus

funny how this was suppose to be one of the first "fall locks" only to go straight down the rabbit hole

Harry Styles, Emma Corrin and My Policeman Cast Will All Go Supporting for the Oscars

Amazon Studios is moving forward with an awards push for director Michael Grandage’s romantic drama My Policeman, despite mixed reviews out of the Toronto Film Festival, where it received an ensemble tribute. Variety has learned exclusively that Amazon will be submitting the entire cast, which includes music superstar Harry Styles and Emmy nominee Emma Corrin, all in the supporting categories for Oscar consideration.

Isn't Harry literally the lead in My Policeman? What in the category fraud is happening this year :bibliahh:

Good luck booking those Supporting noms!

Welp if Rooney Mara got a supporting nom being the LEAD actress in Carol with 1h10mins of performance I don't see why others can't do the same :eddie:

But as if Harry would get nominated anyway :deadbanana2:

i guess this is what his team considers his ASIB moment

I just saw the TÁR trailer. Well, Cate is coming hard for her 3rd Oscar.

Oh Michelle what have you done  From #1 predicted in Supporting to #5 in Lead Actress predictions :rip:

Let's hope Michelle pulls a LaKeith and get nominated for BSA

Michelle Yeoh is about to have another box office hit this year :duca: don't know she's also cast in Avatar 2.

I think AMPAS might pass on Chazelle this time around.

Babylon looks like a box office bomb and I won't be surprised if it did <70% on RT and metacritic.

This will be the first movie from Chazelle that bombed both critically and commercially.

Also another bomb for Ms Robbie :toofunny3:
