Dark Miracles Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Louise Fletcher died Still the best acceptance speech in Oscar history
Feanor Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 People are starting to whisper that Margot Robbie might campaign in Supporting Actress for Babylon...

Now that would be real category fraud. Isn't she the lead of that film? I guess she ran after seeing Michelle was out of supporting
Donquizote Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 There's clearly a path for Queen Williams to win her first Oscar when she decides to go for Lead instead of Supporting. The movie is a contender for Best Picture and she's overdue for an Oscar. Hoping that she prevails

WildAmerican Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 saw a bunch of trailers before DWD () last night and most of them looked meh. Babylon, and Armaggedon Time look lame I know Mr Chazelle will come thru but that trailer wasn't it.

Tbh the drama revolves around Michelle Williams’s character for the first 3/4 of the film. I can see why she went for Lead.

In fact, of his last 10 films: 3 got 1 nom. 6 got 0 noms. So that's a 10% success rate. Edited September 27, 2022 by fridayteenage

Donquizote Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Just watched Blonde. Ana was great and gave a tour de force performance as Marilyn. But I think AMPAS will stay away from that movie I believe someday Ana will get nominated but definitely not for this movie
