The fact they were still mainly pushing Glass Onion instead of this until like 3 weeks ago :priceless: Berger would've prob made it if they weren't so delusional, maybe even an acting nod as well.

Watch Andrea win.

Kate Winslet thinks that it's the best acting performance of all time, so it better

the third time the AMPAS did dirty to Paul Dano, male Emily Blunt indeed

costume design almost always goes to historical pieces.

the only modern day winner this century is black panther which had a $200 mil budget to do nifty stuff.

his precursor haul is always weak.

bafta: 1 nom to date

globe: 1 nom to date

sag: 1 (individual) nom to date

Hugh Grant is probably the best comparison.

sag nom, 3 bafta noms inc a win, 4 globe noms inc a win

It would be so cool to have a Best Actress winner in a role with chase scenes, martial art sequences and relatively less emotional acrobats. :'(

Im late joining the party but Gaga 4th time oscars nominated :jonny5:

TÁR performing as well as it did only cements that Cate is probably winning the Oscar, Everything Everywhere already has one acting win in the bag and will probably win in a few of the other categories

Congrats to Everything Everywhere All At Once. It instantly became my favorite film of all time the first time I watched, and I never had a favorite film before this. I cried actual tears, laughed uncontrollably and my outlook on life has been permanently changed ever since - existential crisis evaporated in an instant! Incredible acting, original script. This movie could’ve only been made in 2022 and will never be made again. Watched it 4 times, and it still holds up. Rooting for it to win big!

Michelle Yeoh gave the best performance of the YEAR!

as much as i adore cate, she doesn't need a third oscar when michelle (FIRST TIME NOMINEE :skull: ) is finally about to get her flowers for an (just as) epic performance low-key reminiscing of her actual career .. cate will surely be nominated and win again

western front has really overperformed  ana de armas getting in for blonde and madonna's w.e. actress getting in last minute :dies:

Ana de Armas had no business in the Lead Actress race but then again the Oscars have always been a mess.

Happy for JLC & Brendan. Does Brendan have any chance to win or Colin has it on lock?

She did an excellent job with what's given to her.

But yeah the movie itself was trash.
