They’re really going to make a whole segment out of how she was snubbed for Hustlers, aren’t they? :rip: Girl you were fine in that movie, move on.

Why wouldn't she? This is based on her life around 50 years old, and the Oscars buzz revolved around that period.

Not too mention, she won and was nominated for countless film critics awards, plus Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, Critics Choice nominations, etc. Ya'll act like she was undeserving when all industry awards season experts predicted it.

She should feel some type of way about it. It's her life. But like she said, it didn't matter. She realized it wasn't about the awards anyway. And now we are here with the doc. Maybe wait to see it first?

Ugh this looks so good.

She’s so inspiring. A hard working woman. I am glad she’s gonna drag all those “talentless” and “diva” remarks.

Great trailer, excited  for the documentary!

dont artists get nominated by votes from fellow artists, producers and execs or w/e. this means she isnt liked in hollywood because her performance in that movie totally deserved a nomination tbh

I saw some articles not just speculating but with direct quotes some Academy members thought she was playing herself :coffee2: Which doesn't make any sense as Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence practically played themselves for all the roles they won :coffee2: Most critics of the decision thought it should've been over Kathy Bates but I actually think it should've been over Margot and I'll continue dying on that hill :coffee2:

The 1998 Movieline interview burned dozens of bridges (at a minimum) permanently

Not Margot being nominated. :deadbanana4: Most of this category is pretty questionable.

She absolutely deserved a nomination, a wild decision to this day. Clearly she's just not respected at all in the movie industry :rip:
