Heard most of this album for the first time at the Oslo live performance and Last To Know and Thank Me Later actually really stood out as some of the best album tracks.

:deadbanana2: I guess this is why it always says that it’s a mock-up and that real color can vary.

wasn’t there an Ariana pressing that looked like **** too

Sadly I didn’t enjoy most of the album, but High Note really snatched me at the end :jonny2:

This is a rare case of the singles being better than the actual album. I only liked them + A Driver Saved My Night and maaaaaybe I could use Mistake Like You too.

Risk of Getting Hurt and Grow are her best song ever!!! ?

There's no bad song here, but I can't help but feel like Sucker Punch was indeed more of a... sucker punch? Like every song on that album felt necessary but this time, a few bangers aside, the rest feels a bit too mid-range for a sophomore album. Still good tho, I'm enjoying it!

This is bland, not bad but just a bit empty of emotions m

I enjoyed her vocal delivery in a few songs (It Gets Dark, Burning Bridges, Dancer (bg vocals), Mistake Like You).

My main issue is that some songs feel "rushed", sorta like the "Don't Feel Like Crying / stream-era-formula". I feel like they had "full" songs and they decided to make shorter versions of them, specially "Mirror", idk.

Also, my top three:

Burning Bridges.

It Gets Dark / Mistake Like You.

High Note.

Burning Bridges is the best track.

Why, just because the length is on the shorter side? Imo, songs like Mirror are a perfect example of a fun bop that don’t need to be longer then they are. It gets the job done in the length it has, and doesn’t overstay its welcome.

Thank Me Later is an insanely delightful tune. The best on the album for me.

Ah, my bad didn’t mean to say it like that but not really, I admit that there’s some 2-minute songs that are pretty fun and sound perfectly fine but personally, I feel like a few songs on this record sound quite rushed but once again, that's just my thoughts.

Eh, I sort of get what you’re saying, but I respectfully disagree :bird:

Imma have to give the album another relisten but I remember enjoying this one quite a bit too!

Damn this album is so good!

the highs aren’t quite as high as Sucker Punch had but it also doesn’t have the lows that Sucker Punch also had (looking at you Business Dinners)

Her melodies and vocals are insane on this album!

early standouts would be ADSMN, High Note, Mistake Like You, and Dancer

High Note a classique

Burning Bridges is her best song but the rest of the album is sadly highly disposable and disappointing. Some songs gave me a kidz bop Miley Cyrus vibe for some reason.

This is the first time I fully heard her music and I'm in love.

High Note, wow.

The way every alt cover is better than the official one :rip:

i only use her for the bops (although i do like Last to Know) so the last 4 tracks do nothing for me. a solid 8-track EP :eli:

agree that Burning Bridges is still the best thing on here, wonder why House on Fire was left off or it would’ve been the 2nd best song
