Helios Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Incoming logistical challenges i fear. Somebody get the curtains.
KeirGrey Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 (edited) Check his numbers, he’s going to be fine Edited March 28, 2023 by KeirGrey
johnny_9ss Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 did you personally count how many tickets are left?
UnusualBoy Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 I thought his US dates were sellout, I think they’ll sell out but he shouldn’t overestimate his demand there.

Other cities have similar numbers available. Big Ed fan here, and someone who is looking forward to the stripped back "-" album. Yet I am not convinced an acoustic album can move that many tickets (hoping I am wrong). *Randomly picked Atlanta to count for the purpose of this thread How do you know it's 15K left?
vuelve88 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 He might want to rush-release that Shakira collab.

Into The Void Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Looking at a few dates a large portion already been sold and these stadiums are huge especially 360 degrees so it was inevitable they won't sell out. Hell be fine

LuckyCunt Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 (edited) Much respect to his team for reasonable ticket prices Edited March 28, 2023 by LuckyCunt
Zaynsus Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 People don't like maths. He should've called it the Sex Ed Tour.
Mr. Mendes Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Not to defend the rat but what percentage of these are first sale tickets rather than Verified resale tickets? And also to those asking why he would assume he could sell it out...because he has been. He has the second highest grossing tour of all time on the last one and this current tour has been selling out all over the world in this arrangement. And he will unfortunately continue to sell them out as the tour goes on. Not every artist is on the Taylor level of instant sell outs, for most artists it will take time and that time sometimes means day of.
Andre2000 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 I don't like him but how is 15k left from a 360 stadium bad? They're cheap so they'll sell out anyway

All of his tickets on Ticketmaster are first sale tickets. I truly hope he gets people in those seats, because he puts on a very impressive show.

Elusive Chanteuse Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Again the idea that he has grossed 700 million on tour is shocking.
Kill Me Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 They will price it dirt cheap and it will sell out. That's his strategy for touring. Get as many seats filled as possible and all those 20 dollar tickets in the 360 standium eventually add up to a massive number if you do 300+ dates.
1989 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 ATRL is forever weird about Ed. I’m looking at getting tickets closer to the date he’s near my city, should be a fun show.

Why are people in this thread behaving so weirdly Not anymore - that now belongs to Elton John and his farewell tour. Anyway, this will most likely sell out (or be a near sellout at least).
